Gotemba City in Shizuoka Prefecture has announced the development of a new multi-purpose facility called the “Fuji no Megumi Industry Park” (tentative name), scheduled for completion by 2030. Aiming to Welcome 3 Million Visitors Annually
Gotemba is already famous for the Gotemba Premium Outlets, one of Japan’s most visited outlet malls with around 11 million visitors each year. A shuttle bus is also planned to connect the outlet mall and the new park, making it easy for visitors to enjoy both destinations in a single trip.
