At Narita Yume Bokujo (Narita Dream Dairy Farm) in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture—just a short trip from Narita International Airport—visitors are being treated to the sight of approximately 26,000 sunflowers in full bloom. Families and friends are flocking to the farm during the mid-August holiday season to take photos against this vibrant backdrop.
Although some flowers were knocked down by Typhoon No. 9 earlier this month, the farm launched a “Sunflower Rescue Operation” to lift spirits—offering each guest one sunflower to take home until August 17.
For those seeking relief from the intense summer heat, the farm also offers indoor attractions, such as the “Usa-Fuwa Room,” kept at a comfortable 25°C, where children can enjoy close encounters with rabbits and guinea pigs.
